Right now, I feel so loved. :)

I woke up at 10.45 this morning, because I stayed up late last night, reviewing for Micropara Lab (which I finished last night) and for Micropara Lec (only 1 more chapter to go, thank God).. After watching Homeboy, forgive me for being so jologs, nagpapakatotoo lang. ;) I started reviewing Chapt 16 (MP Lec), then my Papa came in, asking if he could use the computer.
Then lunch with my family.
The topic on Chi's upcoming birthday party came up, and my mom asked who I'd be inviting, since I was the only one quiet in the table. Papa said right away,"Si Gino." I remained quiet, I hate being teased by my dad. I get scared kasi. Then Chi blurted out, "Di ah Pa! Break na sila ni Gino!" My dad was shocked and was in full-blast teasing mode. Then I was just quiet the whole time because I wasn't in the mood to eat, I kept thinking of what I would be doing next. In other words, I was too preoccupied with my thoughts to actually be minding their teasing. After lunch, while I was watching my sister sing, I hugged my Papa. He asked me if Gino and I are still together. I told him, "may aayaw ba saken?" Then he said seriously in these words:

"Kung ayaw na sayo ni Gino, o kahit sino pa, sabihin mo isauli ka saken."

I so wanted to cry. I never heard my Papa say those words to me ever. He's just the best. I love him. Haaay. Funny nga coz last night he saw me still studying at 12am (studying lang. not talking to gino), then he told me enough na daw, to sleep na coz I still have Monday and Tuesday to study. Hay..

Gino said I've been studying too much. I don't think so. I just really have to pull up my grades that's why I've been working so hard.

Right now, I feel so stupid. But that's silly, no one's stupid.

Misery loves company, but company does not reciprocate.

Especially this girl.

I thought that last week was the worst week of my college life. I was wrong. This week - WORST WEEK EVER. I am so hating myself right now. I'm quite optimistic when it comes to my life, but luck isn't on my side this time.

It's those days when you reflect on what's been happening in your life recently, and you just want to puke because the life you're living isn't the one you've always envisioned yourself in. Back in High School, when I think of what college would be like, I envision myself studying in THAT school, taking up an AB course, no relation to science whatsoever, having fun, being with my boyfriend, and more. What do I get? None of the above. I'm enjoying Nursing, but I can't seem to take the pressure. Maybe I'm like this because I don't get the grades I'm used to having. Back to mediocre grades. But I'm so over mediocrity. I admit, sometimes I'm content with average grades - only when I know I didn't study. Ugh. Everyone seems to be getting high grades, everyone except me. I'm so pissed with myself because though I exert too much effort studying, to the point of getting sick, nothing happens. I still get low grades. I know I could graduate with the grades I'm having, even pass the boards, but I feel bad because I wasn't able to be the best for my parents. That's the problem with me. I think of what I can do for others rather than think of what I can do for myself first, and for others next.

Stop being too sentimental, din. Life's beautiful. :)

Micro-Para is killing me right now. I still couldn't get over the quiz I took this morning in that subject. I was sort of confident that I could answer half of the questions confidently (forgive me for being so redundant. Nalusaw na utak ko). Wala akong masagot kanina. Sobrang tinititigan ko yung papel. Nasaan lahat ng inaral ko?! Nawala lahat. Grr!! Naaalala ko na naman! Move on, din..

I need all the help I could get to have decent grades in Ana-Physio, Funda, and CHN. My funda prof is so unfair. I got high grades in all of my quizzes last grading period, and yet I got a low average. Ugh. Di tama yun eh! I so wanna cuss right now, but I know it's not right. I'm trying to change. Enough of the cussing. I'm thinking of other words I could substitute with the bad words I often use. Think Din.

Prelims next week. I'm so gonna study for it. Have to have high grades.

I so miss High school. *sigh*

One thing to look forward to next week: no duty :)
another thing to look forward to: I'm gonna be driving to school everyday.. I know it's hassle, but what the heck?! At least I don't get impatient while waiting for the driver if I get out earlier than I'm supposed to.

sh*ttiest week ever

This has got to be the worst week I've had since school started. I've been under a lot of stress lately.

I'm now licensed to drive :) haha That's one of the FEW nice things that happened to me this week. Count your blessings diba?

Andy won against Juan Carlos Ferrero yesterday. Another thing to be happy about :) I hope he wins the US Open. . He hasn't won a grand slam in 2 years. As if naman diba, US Open pa lang nga napapanalunang grand slam ni Andy. But I believe in him. :)

DEPRESSED

I am depressed. Because of school. I'm in this phase wherein I don't think I can go on anymore. I feel as though I'm hanging by a thread and in any moment, I can fall. And fall hard. I have to fight, I know. I hope I make it.

Trisha, don't know how, but Margaux knows you (from our pictures). She saw a picture of us a while ago (wallpaper ng phone ko - sweet noh?) then she said, "didin! tish!" She called you Tish. :)

My back hurts. Because of stress. I am so stressed with everything. 2 more months til Sembreak. I am so looking forward to sembreak. I NEED A BREAK. I'm like a freshman in college, I can't quite adapt to my classes. It's already the 2nd grading period, and I still feel harassed by all the subjects. Then my parents are nagging me about getting my license so I can drive myself to school. They want me to have a license by next week. I'm not looking forward to driving to school because once that happens, I have to leave the house at 5am every single morning - for the parking. Grabe. I don't wanna think about it.

I still love my life though.

Watched If only with Chi and Ate Mae this afternoon as I didn't have PE this afternoon. It was so nice. *sigh* I cried the whole time.. Crybaby, I know.

missing trisha

I love sleeping when it's raining. Exactly the kind of weather we're experiencing today. Thank God we didn't have classes in the morning.

I woke up at around 10am, took a bath, watched Something's gotta give, had lunch, then at 12.30 left the house for UST. I don't really leave the house 30 mins before my class starts, it's just that I figured that since it's noon,there won't be any traffic. Right? Wrong. It was so traffic. I had a flat tire. And I was so late for my PE class.I know it's just PE, but I like my PE class. It's the only part of the week when I get to really exercise my bodyand really run and do athletic stuff. When I was like 10 minutes from school (and 30mins late), Abbie textedme and told me to go back home, because they were dismissed na. So aside from being marked ABSENT, andnot being able to exercise, I was so pissed. Really pissed. Hay. That's life.

I had my return demo for the Intradermal Injection yesterday and I survived! The only thing that's kindof keeping me sad is the part where I have to have make-up duty because I had long nails DAW - may puti lang nails ko LONG na siya?! Badtrip coz last Wed night, I was contemplating on whether I would cut my nails or not,then I decided against it, coz my nails weren't long naman. Ugh. For the first time in my college life, I didn't become segurista and it backfired. I wanted to get mad at myself, but then I said, it's gonna make me a better person. I'm trying to erase the fact that next saturday morning won't be a fun morning because I have to wake up at 6am for my duty. I have to. :)

My parents are finally coming home on Sunday and I so can't wait! I'm not looking forward to pasalubongs, because I didn't ask for anything except and iPod. I just miss them. Plus, my most awaited Andy Roddick wristbands. :) I asked my uncle to buy 1 for me, and he bought 5 :) haha can you imagine me wearing a baller id? Neither can I. But it's something that links me to Andy. So, I like it. :) He has one. I have one. It's all good. :)

I feel so harrassed and so stressed.

My parents are finally coming home on Sunday. Goody! I miss them so much.. :(

So many things to do, so little time. That's been my favorite line since school started. Prolly because that's how things are for me right now. Ugh.

Can you imagine me playing basketball? Aba, starting 5 ata ito noh. Haha no joke :) Our prof wanted 3 girls and 2 boys in the starting 5. There are only 4 girls in my team, 1 is absent. So Abbie, Ruffa Mae and I had to play. For 3 consecutive quarters. Minus the time-outs and the halftime. I kept yelling, "SUB!!" coz I couldn't breathe and move properly anymore. Our prof didn't want the boys to play yet, coz the team we were playing only had 4 boys. Ugh, badtrip noh? Anyway, naawa din naman ung propesor namin nung matapos ang 3rd quarter. Duh. Sugurin kaya nila ko sa Health Service noh. Kung di ako tumigil maglaro malamang asa stretcher na ko nung gitna ng 4th quarter. May puso din pala prof namin. I had tachycardia. 115+ ppm. Hala na. :)

I still have to finish my NCPs. Ugh. Our CHN prof taught us to administer intradermal and intramuscular medications this afternoon. Thank God I didn't faint. I almost did. I don't think I could do it. I'm still not yet sure if the Return Demo for the ID will be on Thursday or next week. Hopefully next week, so I have more time to prepare (AND PRAY) haha

I just read Trisha's email for me. I'm so glad she's doing okay there. I really really miss her. I'll reply to your email soon trisha.. On Thursday, PROMISE.. I have so many kwentos to tell you so expect my email to be a really looooooooong one.. It's Papa's birthday on Friday, the party's on Sunday. I was about to text you ba naman this morning, inviting you to the party. Then I remember.. Trisha's in Canada na pala. Same thing happened to me last Sunday, when Abbie and I watched the UST-NU game. Abbie told me to text all my friends to watch the game, baka daw makita kami sa TV. I almost sent a message to Trish. hay. Miss you Sweetie.. LOVE YOU!

chillin for the first time

For the first time since school started, I am actually enjoying my weekend, not worrying about what will happen on Monday, or Tuesday. I am still hoping that we don't have classes tomorrow (Benavides day diba?!) but I am actually happy that we don't have school today.. Long weekend.. What a way to end our Monthly Exams, which was hell by the way. I am so frustrated with myself, especially last Thursday night, because I lost all the enthusiasm that I had when school started. I was too lazy to study for Micro-Para lec and lab. What happened? I think I failed my Lab exam. But what the heck, it's only 1 unit! Ugh, then I remember Ana-Physio. Ang hirap sobra. Can I die now? But I promised myself I won't think of the possible results.. I have to enjoy the weekend. I deserve it :)

I can now say that I can drive. I was able to drive myself to school for 3 days. I live in Marikina and my school's in Espana. Amazing? haha I was so proud of myself. I was able to endure the traffic in Espana and was able to survive in QC Circle. Was able to make gitgitan with jeepney drivers and fx drivers - which is bad, next time I should just let them go first. Hay. I am getting older. But I actually feel younger. :)

I watched the FEU-UST game yesterday with my 2 sisters, and can I just say, nakakahiya talaga. We lost AGAIN. We haven't won a match since God knows when.

I missed the post-test in Mod4 yesterday. F*ck that NSTP thing. Why does it have to be online?! I went online last Saturday, but there were no available quizzes online naman!!! Ugh. I know I have to love my school, but how can you love it,when every time you go to school (after leaving the house an hour earlier to beat the traffic) the traffic is worse in the campus, when you try to park (at 6.45am),there's no more free parking left, you'll have to park in the Pay Parking Lot, where you'll have to pay 30 bucks for the first 3 hours and additional 10 bucks for every exceeding hour, when you go to the bathroom, it stinks to the point that you couldn't breathe, when you get to the cubicle, there's no flush, when you try to wash your hands, there's no water, when you go out to have lunch in Dapitan, the guards are so careless and the street stinks! I'm telling you my list is really long. nakakainis. I love my life in the college though. Isipin ko nalang na lahat ng hirap at bagay na kinabwibwisitan ko will make me a better person. :)

Got no time to blog. I just went online to email my homework to someone.

I am so not eating at KFC anymore. Got food poisoned ba naman. Tsk. Lost 5 lbs over the weekend because of what happened. At least may benefits din diba.

dead tired

Had my duty in the OPD this afternoon. I was surprised that we would be actually interacting with "clients" today, as today's supposed to be Orientation day, since it's our first meeting with our new CI.

We're going to pay 2 courtesy calls to the Manila Health Dept - District 1 Health Center and Dagupan Health Center tomorrow. Good luck to us. :)

I'm so tired. And stressed. Have to finish the powerpoint presentation for my group's report tomorrow in Ana-Physio. I don't want to report, so instead, I volunteered to do the presentation since no one wants to do the dirty work.

HAPPY STORY NAMAN.

We finally have our name plates, which makes us certified student nurses. I believe in all other Nursing schools or in most schools that is, they get their name plates freshman year of college. In UST-Nursing, we have to work hard to earn that. Having a name plate is like being assured that you're going to make it, you're going to be a certified registered nurse one day. :) Thank God we won't be mistaken as 1st year students anymore. Though 1st year was fun, I'd rather be a soph thank you very much. :)

I still miss Trisha. I talked to her this morning before entering Comp class. When I entered the room, I was crying na. Then Abbie told me that Oana's crying, eh I can't show myself to others coz I was crying also. People found us weird nga coz mga kaibigang nagiiyakan. They thought that I was crying coz Oana was crying. Haha. Turns out, Oana cried coz Ade kept teasing her and she just burst. Haha. Pikon pala si Oana.

Yikes, I'm going to Tondo tomorrow. RLE ko sa Manila Health Dept - Dagupan, Tondo. I can do this :)

Monthly exams next week. Hay. Kakayanin.

doom day tomorrow

Doom day tomorrow. Trisha's leaving na nga.

I never thought that that day would actually come and that it's actually really happening so soon. Us being apart from each other. I thought we'd part ways after graduation since I'd be working in the States and she'd still be here. Yet, it's not our destiny. She was destined to live in Canada. I'll miss being with her, calling her from school just because I'm bored and I need her, calling her and asking her to come over to just hang out. I wish I could turn back time and be in High School again. Back then, our problems seem petty and we were just enjoying life. College seemed different at first because I don't have her or my barkada with me in school. I accepted the fact that we won't be going to the same University na nga, but I still can't accept the fact that she's leaving. For good. But I have to. It still doesn't seem real. Like what Trish said, it'll only sink in when she's in Canada na. I'm so sad. I couldn't let go of her nga last Saturday when her parents picked her up from my place eh. Kept crying till I went to sleep.

Saturday was the best. Last bonding moment with Trish before she leaves, and period. :(

life of a stressful being

I'm so stressed with everything that's been happening lately.. So many things to do for school, yet I don't think I have enough time to do everything. I always have back pains due to stress, and unlike last week where 11pm is too late for me (in sleeping), it seems like I'm back to living the life of someone whose slumber starts at 11pm and ends at 5am SHARP. My life seems so boring, but actually it isn't.

Before I go on and be all emotional and stuff, let me just say that I am so frustrated right now. I studied hard last night - I read the whole chapter on Nervous System worth 40+ pages! Yet we weren't able to have the "short" quiz today. Instead, we'll be having the short and long quiz on Nervous System tomorrow.. Not only that, we have another quiz on Endocrine System, which I still have to read tonight. Ugh!!! This is the reason why my uncle, after graduating from UST BSN didn't work right away, even with all his honors such as being a cum laude and #9 in the boards. Now I know why. I hope I have the energy to work right after I graduate. Know what, even if I'm so tired studying and staying in school late for classes and duty, I feel so happy and so excited. For the first time in my life, I am actually excited to be studying and learning new things. And I am quite happy about that actually. I don't need to be in the Dean's list. As long as I know I'm doing my best in every quiz, every exam, every "assignment", I'm happy. Although being in the Dean's List would be a plus.

I am feeling quite low today because Trisha's leaving on Tuesday. To all my friends from SPCP, Ana Patricia Gonzaga aka Trisha or Anapat is leaving on July 12th for good. Text her na or something. I'm so sad. She has made my life "a whole lot nicer and so much happier and funner" and it's gonna be different not having her around. I know she's from La Salle and I'm from UST, but we still find time to talk to each other, tell each other how we're doing, that kinda thing, and I always call her when I'm bored with school or when I need a friend. Now all that's gonna change. :( It's so sad. She promised naman that she'll be coming back when she's saved enough money na naman eh. Take care Trishie Pie.

so many things to do, so little time

So many things to do, so little time. I really have to manage my time wisely. I spend my whole weekend studying and sleeping. Thank God I managed to have a pedicure (my toenails were in dire need of a pedicure - it's been months na!)

Anyway, I learned a lot of things today. I know it's such a cliche, but we really shouldn't judge anyone. We don't have the right to judge anyone, simply because we're not God. I wish I could take back all the anger and hatred that has been built in my heart. I'm slowly letting go of all the bad feelings I have for anyone. Like what my mom said, no matter how hard I study, no matter how hard I work, if there's hatred in my heart, it wouldn't get me anywhere.

Enough of that drama.

I woke up from my late siesta last night (around 6pm) because my dear Oana texted me and told me to watch Punk'd simply because andy was the one being punk'd. When I turned on the TV, tada! It was Andy! He was so handsome. I am so right in wanting him! He was so cute. And he's just perfect.. So anyway, that same night I watched him in his semis match with Tommy Johansson.. Thank God Andy won. I was like on the edge of my seat the whole time and was so into the game because it was such a close fight! I am so happy that Andy made it to the finals.. I am so going to watch his match tonight. Yes, I'm so happy! =) Back to Andy, I hope he wins.. He deserves this..

thank God for weekends

I am super tired from the whole week. Had our RLE in the hospital ward last wed and thursday. SInce we were in the Pay Hospital, we weren't doing any vital signs, (of course the patients were paying, they deserve the best nursing care from professional nurses, not from student nurses). Those days really got me toxic. I salute the nurses who've been working for years. Can't believe I'd be doing those things i saw the nurses who I shadowed, for the rest of my life. Hopefully, I retire early ahahaha. But seriously, being a nurse is no joke. YOu'd think that it's just following doctor's orders and making sure your patients are okay, but man, if those are the only things you know that nurses do, don't take up nursing. Nurses do everything. And there are only 2-3 nurses per ward. Imagine that. 8 hours non-stop and you have to attend to 25 patients. I just hope I finish college in UST. Though the job's toxic, I still want to be a nurse. I can't wait to be one. Have to finish this course to achieve my long-term goal. hahaha

have to study for about 6 long quizzes this week.

Andy's in the semis. too bad his match with johansson got suspended last night (yesterday afternoon in london). I was waiting for it pa naman. I hope he wins the finals. if he reaches the finals, that is. Well, I hope he wins his match with Johansson and wins over Roger. He's been my inspiration these past few days. This past few weeks, I felt like I couldn't study and concentrate anymore. To the point that I'm already thinking of giving up. Then I think of Andy. He proved that he's more than a big serve and more than just a pretty handsome face. He's working his (sorry for the term) ass off, and succeeds in whatever he wants to do. He works hard for what he wants, and I have to be like that. I have to be more determinated and more focused. Love. :)

busy busy busy

i am so tired from waking up reallyy early just to get to school on time, going home late from school, studying pa when i get home because i have so much to do and so much to study for. grabe. this is like ten time worse than last year. but then, i'm enjoying what i'm doing this time, since i know that being a nurse is something i'd do for the rest of my life. *sigh*

still have to finish my microbio-parasitology lab homework. grabe. minor subjects are killing me ah. ana-physio and micro-para are like 20 times harder than CHN, fundamentals of nursing, and RLE. i actually enjoy my nursing subjects.. i'm excited to be doing the work na nga eh. i'm just not looking forward to practicing how to inject and all. hay.

funnest day of my life

today is manila day. no classes. did my homeworks this afternoon. twas boring at first. yet, this has to be the funnest day of my life.

as i mentioned in of my latest posts, trisha's leaving on july 12th. so a week ago, i invited her to watch southborder's big concert in araneta coliseum tonight. she got here at 5.40. i just finished watching andy's suspended match then. we chatted a bit and played with margaux. then had dinner at 6.30.. we left at 7.30, then went to gateway first since it was raining. we met up with ate mae and her friends there and gave them their tickets since we wanted to go to araneta na. so there. the concert was great. danced nga eh. haha. so anyway, after the concert, we went to eastwood to eat. twas tiring kasi, and i was sweating like a pig when we left the concert, so i was really tired. then basta, when we got the check, i thought i saw duncan from southborder pass by our table. then ate said, ''uy, si vince ng southborder yun diba?'' i quickly jumped from my seat since i really really wanted to have a picture with them, since i promised oana that if i see duncan or vince, i'd have my picture taken with either of them. so kakahiya sobra. kasi nagkagulo kami sa table. ate jumped from her seat as well and followed me. then this waitress told ate that the guys were coming back since they just ordered. basta it was chaos. we had our pictures taken with them and had our tickets signed too. kj as i may sound, i don't want to elaborate on the story since it's really really funny. and i felt really really jologs. wanna know why? everyone in the restaurant was watching us. yes. so so so embarrassing. hahahaha

what's more, when i was in jack's loft, i was panicking since i wanted to watch andy's game. or be updated. gino couldn't watch anymore since he was sleepy na daw. so i kept calling some of my friends. gl was my savior, as he was the only one who checked the game. turns out, the game was at that moment suspended due to light rain. the reason i even went online at this ungodly hour? because i checked in wimbledon.org whether andy won or not. thank God he won. i'm so happy :) see, one of the funnest days ever..

wrong nickname pa diba! how could she even send that message when she doesn't even know who i am? not even my nickname! if i have offended that person, well i've reconciled with people who i have hurt in the past. well, not all. but i've forgiven all of the people who have hurt me, and i take back all the bad things i said about anyone. don't be a chicken. reveal your true identity. you had the courage to send that very mean message, why not tell me who you really are? i know i seem maarte & mayabang to some people, but that's just 'cause they don't know me well enough. but that's crossing the line. wow. sorry, cruel, you can't put me down.

even that couldn't dampen my bright mood. :) i'm in love. with life. with andy. with gino. with God. with my family. and with friends.

2nd week and so stressed na!

it's only the 2nd week of classes and i'm so stressed about everything. i have to do good this time so i'm focused on my studies. but at the same time i have to take care of myself so i sleep early. no time for tv. no time for gino. no time for MYSELF.

i wore my stockings, apron and white shoes for the first time today. :) feeling nurse na talga, especially coz when i was in the clinical div hospital, this patient's dad (i think) approached me and said, "nurse, pwede ba gamitin yung wheelchair?" i smiled at him and said, "hindi ko po alam, tanong nyo po sa nurses' station." hahahaha

i had to revise the floor plan (which took me a whole hour to do - while listening/watching one tree hill last night) i did, and after an hour, tapos na. i'm gonna study for ana-physio na. good luck dindin.

i talked to my tito francis a while ago. yabang talaga nun. he got a 1.25 in anatomy & physiology daw when he was a soph. nyak. pressure!!! i hope i do well this term..
